Our Thought Leaders

Tiahni Adamson

Tiahni is a Kaurareg Nations descendant, and regularly speaks on themes of climate and First Nations. She currently serves as the lead community engagement officer at CH4Global, where she focuses on embedding Indigenous knowledge into climate change solutions through sustainable seaweed aquaculture to reduce methane emissions from livestock. Tiahni’s goal is to focus primarily on healing, protecting country, as well as environmental activism, as well as working closely with First Nations people.

She is a member of the Green Adelaide Board, a youth advocate for the Uluru Statement from the Heart, and part of the leadership team for Seed, Australia’s only First Nations-led youth climate justice group.  In 2024, Tiahni was named Young South Australian of the Year and nominated for Young Australian of the Year for her advocacy in climate change, sustainability, and Indigenous education programs.
